Re: Michigan Depth Chart
WR#22 Darryl Stonum was redshirted today because of Team Violations......
WR#85 Freshmen is Raymon Taylor #21 and is a CB.......
WR#10 Jeremy Gallon should be replaced by #6 Jeron Stokes or #83 Jerald Robinson, they are both ahead of him on the depth chart at WR...
WR#8 T.Robinson should be replaced by #26 Drew Dileo (So) he is their 3rd or 4th WR and coaches compare him to Wes Welker...
RE#41 Ken Wilkins is a DT
RE#92 Keith Heitzman is 6'4,237 (FR)
LE#91 Brennan Beyer is 6'3,225 (FR) his # is 97
DT#96 Talbott suffered a career ending injury, he should be replaced by #95 Chris Rock, 6'5, 250 (FR)
DT#73 William Campbell is projected to be the #2DT and coaches say he has greatly improved this summer above Washington DT#76
LOLB #42 J.B. Fitzgerald is now a MLB
LOLB #34 Jones is off the team, he needs replaced with #40 Antonio Poole (FR)
MLB #51 should be #44 Desmond Morgan (FR)
ROLB #36 is a walk-on, he should be replaced by #57 Frank Clark (FR) or # 51 Marell Evans (SR)
CB #30 is Blake Countess and coaches say he could possibly start and he is atleast their #3CB, his ratings need major improvement.. His new # is 8....
CB#24 Christian transferred and should be replaced by #24 Delonte Hollowell (FR)...
FS #3 Marvin Robinson should be listed at SS and projected the starter by end of camp...
SS #4 Cameron Gordon is now the LOLB (him or #37 will start)..
#46 K should be replaced by #45 Matt Wile (FR) projected starter....
All of these have been taken right off TheWolverine.com through Rivals.com...... Updates everyday.....
Also #20 Tamani Carter (FR) is being talked about alot by media and coaches too he could be a add-on along with a FB #36 Joe Kerridge (FR) a highly preferred walk-on who will eventually see some playing time down the road..
I think Michigan has room for two add-ons......

Re: Michigan Depth Chart
From today's press conference, Will Campbell is down to 319 lbs (342 lbs in spring practice). This should help him solidify #2 DT spot. Also, Ryan Van Bergen now weighs 290 lbs. Wile mentioned as Kicker and Punter (presumably until Hagerup returns for 5th game on punter front).
Should be able to update depth chart with the week as practice continues.

Updated Roster
Weight Changes (from said updated roster)
By the way the second link is just to highlight possible weight changes. The analysis is largely a joke by the author.

Updated Depth Chart (Offense)
An updated depth chart. RB continues to be up for grabs among several players. Other positions up for grabs indicated by OR with most likely winner listed first. Positions listed twice read left to right, then down, then left to right. IE, at WR Roundtree, Hemingway, Odoms, Grady, Stokes, Jackson, Gallon, Dileo, Stonum. Stonum’s ratings should be left alone, but he should be off the depth chart. He will RS this year and return next.
A note on the O-Line. On the actual Depth Chart, Schofield and Mealer should be the backups on both the left and right sides. Gunderson should be 3rd string tackle on left and right. Posada can be 3rd string G on both sides, but he should see the field barring major injuries until next year.
That is 34 players. The only mayor omissions are RB Mike Cox and WR Jerald Robinson. I chose both freshman over Cox for their long term viability and Gallon/Dileo over Robinson because both should figure in the return game this year.
After I do the defense, I'll evaluate the overall numbers to see if anyone else should be added/subtracted.

That's 33 players on D and 2 kickers. That makes 69 which I believe is the limit (or is it 70)?
If it is 70 and you wanted to add a defensive player, I'd probably go with either Ramon Taylor (who's actually on the default roster as a WR) or Tamani Carter, both freshman CBs. Although if you're adding I'd probably go with RB Mike Cox (could play big role or not at all this year with RB up for grabs) or WR Jerald Robinson who could be a big contributor in future years.

UPDATE
Updates:
Tony Posada has left the team (was there for about 2 weeks). Move Chris Bryant inside to guard (this is where he's at anyway) and I would turn Posada into DE Nathan Brink. Bring is a walk-on rsSO, who may end up starting at SDE with Van Bergen moving inside because Will Campbell is reported to be struggling mightliy. I would move Van Bergen inside just yet, but Brink should be created as the 2nd string RE. The Posada transfer just makes for an easy choice as to who to replace.
Brink
The roster lists him as a DT, but he's is playing RDE.
Also, Fitzgerald Toussaint is getting buzz as the possible #1 running back. Nothing definitive yet, but don't be suprised if he's the guy.
One more guy I'd like to get in there is LB Brandin Hawthorne. He is running with the 1's in some situations at ROLB. It would probably be a good idea to slot him in instead of Isaiah Bell.

Another Transfer
Wr JeRon Stokes has left the team and will transfer. This opens up a spot for #83 Jerald Robinson.
Robinson
Also, Brady Hoke indicated in his press conference today that Michael Shaw and Fitzgerald Toussaint are #1 and #2 on the RB depth chart, respectively. ("if the season started today").
Haven't looked at the roster just yet, but I'll add more notes when I do.

Notes After Viewing Roster
RB:
Shaw and Smith should have their speeds swapped. Smith has great quicknes (AGI, ACC), but his top end speed is lacking. He is much more likely to get caught from behind than Shaw, who, although bigger and more straight line, has much better top end speed. Toussaint might be the fastest of the group, so bumping him up to 91 SPD wouldn't be a bad idea, but it's not a must.
WR:
As noted earlier, Stokes has left the program so he needs to be eliminated.
OL:
Posada has left the program, so he needs to be removed. Rocko Kourhy is the backup Center, so I would move him there. I would replace Posada with FR Center Jack Miller. With the players ahead of him being a SR and a JR, he'll be important down the line. I'd also move Bryant to RG just to even things up.
DE:
Roh and Black have to be on the same side, because they play the same position (WDE). Rock can stay on that side, although FR Frank Clark has been getting alot more pub at that position (WDE) in camp, so I would move Clark to LE, and put him in from of Rock. Clark is also up to 228 lbs. Brennan Beyer has moved to ROLB. I would definately add rsSO Nathan Brink at RE. He has beaten out Will Heininger as the #2 at that position, and may even start there with Van Bergen sliding inside.
LE: Roh, Black, Clark, Rock
RE: Van Bergen, Brink, Heininger (Beyer to ROLB)
Beyer and Clark swapped positions early in the fall.
DT:
Fine for now, although I'm not hearing good things about Campbell at all. Not much has come out about who might replace him though (unless its Van Bergen with Brink outside, and I wouldn't go that for yet) so I'd stay with the status quo for now.
LB:
Again, Gordon and Ryan have to be on the same side because they play the same position (SLB). I would make this the ROLB. Marrell Evans has moved inside to MLB (backing up Demens). LOLB is wide open with Herron, Fitzgerald, Jones, and Brandin Hawthorne in the mix. (Also Desmond Morgan is getting a shot there, but unless he wins the starting job, he should stay in the middle). Right now Brandin Hawthorne is running with the 1s at LOLB, so I'd replace Antonio Poole with Hawthorne, and make him the starter at LOLB.
LOLB: Hawthorne, Jones, Herron, Fitzgerald
MLB: Demens, Evans, Morgan
ROLB: Gordon, Ryan, Beyer
CB:
Courtney Avery is still the starter opposite Woolfolk (ahead of Floyd), but it is close. Tony Anderson may well be the next CB in line, but as a rsSR, I'd be ok with leaving him out, and adding in FR Delonte Hollowell in place of WR JeRon Stokes (Transfer). Terrence Talbott could also be eliminated to make room for Anderson. There hasn't been any official news, but the fact that Talbott and Jake Ryan, both defensive players, are listed as #37, tells me that Talbott is never going to play. If not Anderson, FR Tamani Carter could replace Talbott.
FS:
Thomas Gordon has gotten some recent buzz at FS, but Carvin Johnson is still expected to start there, so they should at least be rated close together (Gordon on the other hand will play the "nickel back" position, but people will have to take care of that with position subs if they want that.
SS:
Marvin Robinson is probably overated a bit. He could be lowered some to even out elevating Carvin Johnson.
NUMBERS:
Some problems with duplicates, but nothing you can do about that.
JT Floyd changed to #8, this may have been a duplicate problem with Terrence Robinson on the original roster, but he's correctly been eliminated, so Floyd can change to 8.
This frees up #18 for FR Blake Contess (his correct number).
Also, as I mentioned earlier, the current RB depth chart is topped by Michael Shaw and Fitzgerald Toussaint. I mentioned the speed fix for Shaw/Smith, but you could make some other small changes to reflect this if you wanted.

Re: Michigan Depth Chart
Most of this already covered, although the Gordon news supports your set...From Brady Hokes press conference today (8/26):
News Bullets:
Gallon, Dileo, and Vincent Smith handling returns
Starting O-line, from left to right: Lewan, Barnum, Molk, Omameh, Huyge
Shaw starting RB, Fitz likely back-up (based on mention only)
Thomas Gordon likely starting free safety, may play nickel along with Woolfolk
Cam Gordon starting at SAM, no starter at WILL yet.
Straight from the horses mouth.
