Attend Any Good or Memorable NCAA Football Games This Year?
My schedule doesn't allow me to attend a lot of games anymore. I did attend a good one and a memorable one however...
Good: South Carolina at Clemson.
Rivalry game. I think it was #11 vs #12 at the time. The atmosphere was very electric. I sat near Michael Roth, South Carolina's all-world pitcher of the back-to-back College World Series champions (2010 and 2011) and got a picture with him. Very good game.
Memorable: Tennessee at South Carolina.
Marcus Lattimore injury. I remember myself and what seemed like most people in attendance not even caring about the outcome of the game anymore once Latt went down again. I just had a sick feeling about everything, and I remember the stadium not even getting loud when the Gamecocks would score later.

good-The UCLA game...we lost 43-45. Both teams put up over 500 yards of offense, but UCLA drove 75 yards in under a minute to kick the game winning 37 yard field goal. If we would have won that game, ASU would have been the Pac 12 South champs.
memorable-Oregon game. Everyone was so pumped up for that game because it was on a Thursday night and nationally televised, but Oregon came in and tanned our hide. The only three things I really remember was that Will Sutton wreaked havoc on the second play of the game, causing a fumble, and thus leading to a quick ASU TD. Yet, on that play, he injured his knee, and would be out three weeks. Oregon thus began the biggest ass-kicking I've ever seen in my life, scoring 43 un-answered. I spent the whole second half spitting my game to this girl sitting in front of me. After the game, we went out and had drinks and "hung-out" until after 3 am (since this is a family website, I left out some details of our encounter ). So yes, this game was a memorable one as far as I'm concerned.

Touchdown Zoon!
That story reminds me of a lot of Gamecock shirts from the University of South Carolina. Maybe I should hook you up with some:
Baseball shirt: Swingin' Cocks: you gotta get to first base before you can score
Swimming and Diving shirt: Wet Cocks go deeper
Football shirt (when SCar played SoCal years ago--USC vs USC): Your Trojans can't hold our Cocks
General shirts:
You can't lick our Cocks
Our Cocks are up and coming
Hard Cock Cafe, Columbia SC
We've gotta have the most vulgar apparel known to man

I knew it was just a matter of time until jd@os posted something like this...you were just waiting for the right time, weren't you! Question, what does "you can't lick our Cocks" necessarily infer? Football reference?

Of course! You saw right past me! And as far as your question, that specific t-shirt isn't related to any sport; just saying you can't beat up the Gamecocks. I have all those shirts, but there was one that I wasn't ever going to touch: Chris Smelley was the South Carolina quarterback at the time, and there was a t-shirt that said: My Cock is Smelley
It's interesting that you mentioned a loss in your games. Too often people don't recognize a loss as a good or memorable game--I guess it's too hard. I remember in one of my first years at South Carolina (mid 90s), East Carolina beat the Gamecocks 50-something to 40-something. Even though South Carolina lost, that was a good game. [b] A complete air-show on both sides; not a game for fans of defense however.
