GoAztecs......The folks you just listed weren't on the early version 1 and should not be on the FSU roster.

Florida State junior TE Dan Hicks will miss the 2012 season after undergoing microfracture surgery on his left knee.

Hicks moved from defensive end to tight end during the offseason. The Seminoles have somewhat of a void at the position, with sophomore Nick O'Leary expected to play more of an H-back/receiving role. Junior Kevin Haplea will likely see the most snaps at the position.

DE Brandon Jenkins out for season (foot)

With the loss of senior DE Brandon Jenkins for the season, Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher announced that freshman DL Mario Edwards will not redshirt.

Neither will defensive end Chris Casher. Edwards had previously been upset with his role on the scout team as the Seminoles prepared to redshirt him. The freshman was so disgruntled that he failed to attend a team dinner and the following day's game. Senior Tank Carradine will take the starter's snaps, but the drop off to the next reliable pass rusher could be significant.
