La Tech 2013 news
Nearly two months after unexpectedly announcing he was transferring from USF, Sterling Griffin has found himself a new college home for at least the next year.
Louisiana Tech announced Monday that the wide receiver has decided to transfer into the Bulldogs’ football program. Griffin will reunite with Skip Holtz, who was the Bulls coach from 2010 until he was fired following the 2012 season.
As Griffin graduated from USF over the weekend, he will be eligible to play for Tech immediately in 2013.

Wide receivers Richie Casey and Andrew Guillot, along with offensive lineman Jeremy Graffree, the school stated in a press release, were each given a sixth season of eligibility from The Association. All three appealed to the NCAA based on past medical issues.
