Re: Arkansas news
Two off Arkansas
According to Petrino via team spokesperson, Jatashun “Big Tex” Beachum and tight end Denton Simek are no longer with the team for unspecified reasons.
Both players redshirted in 2010 and were adjusting to position changes this spring. Beachum moved from running back to defensive line; Simek from center to tight end.

Re: Arkansas news
New position change
Head coach Bobby Petrino confirmed to Matt Jones of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette that Colton Miles-Nash will be moving from defensive end back to tight end. Miles-Nash played tight end as a freshman in 2009 and was moved to the other side of the ball the following year, but apparently his services are needed more at his original position.

Re: Arkansas news
The fate of Arkansas’ suspended trio of Marquel Wade and Maudrecus Humphrey and Andrew Peterson was thought to be known by Aug. 2.
Turns out, we may know already.
Arkansas coach John L. Smith said on the second SEC media day that the all suspended players, including linebacker Tyler Gilbert, were not in the school’s media guide, and according to Arkansassports360.com, “indicated that this is permanent.“
