Basically went off of last year's rating and off of pre-season projections. For example Kelly, Sutton and Coyle...I had them at 79, 91, and 80 at the end of the season last year...now they are 84, 97, and 87, which is not that huge of a leap. Sutton and Nix (ND DT) are the two highest rated DT's, plus they are both 1st team AA's, so they both should be rated about 97ish. Kelly is a middle of the road BCS conference QB, which he is in the real. Coyle is the 10th rated TE in the game, and he is second team all pac 10 according to Phil Steele. This is the basic logic. If you have questions about individual players, I can try to justify their ratings if you want.

As far as overall ratings in the game, I don't think anyone should be at 99 except for Clowney and Marquis Lee.
