Re: Colorado 2014 news
Army’s recruiting loss will turn out to be Colorado’s gain.
In a release sent out Wednesday, Colorado announced that OL Isaiah Holland signed a financial aid agreement with CU over the weekend and will play for the Buffs this fall. The school noted in the release that “[h]igh school student-athletes in football can sign letters-of-intent through April 1; after that date, they can sign grants-in-aid per NCAA rules.”
As one of the top freshmen expected to join Army’s football team this pickup, his pickup instead turns into an unexpected boon to CU’s class this year.

Re: Colorado 2014 news
During a chat with Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre, he seemed excited about the recent addition of safety Travis Talianko to the Buffs roster.
Talianko (6-foot-1, 200 pounds) is from Sierra Madre, Calif., and played for St. Francis High School in nearby La Canada.
Talianko spent 2013 at a junior college (College of the Canyons) but did not play football. He is eligible to play for CU this fall and will have three years of eligibility with the Buffs.

Buffs the new home for former four-star Auburn OT
In May, Shane Callahan decided to leave Auburn in order to be closer to his home in Colorado.
Three months later, he’s successfully achieved that goal.
According to the Boulder Daily Camera, Callahan has transferred into the Colorado football program. The native of the state is seeking a waiver that would allow him to play immediately in 2014.

Re: Colorado 2014 news
While Colorado has seen the last of a starting member of its defense for 2014, they likely haven’t seen the last of him at the school.
Last week, Jered Bell suffered a torn ACL during practice that will cost him the entire 2014 season. Because he already missed the entire 2011 season with a torn ACL, the redshirt senior would make a solid candidate for a sixth season of eligibility.
