Cincinnati News

Post by GoAztecs on Wed Jul 27, 2011 3:18 am

When last we heard from/about Latwan Anderson, the talented two-sport athlete was on his way out of Miami because he was unhappy with the football situation at the school.

Now, self-reportedly, the former five-star recruit is on his way in to a Big East football program.

On his Twitter account very early Tuesday morning, Anderson announced that he is headed to Cincinnati to presumably play football in 2012 as he gives shout-outs to current Bearcats in the tweet.

Cinci QB gets extra year

Multiple injuries have taken their toll on the playing time for Cincinnati quarterback Brendon Kay. Thankfully for him, he’ll get one more crack to compete in 2013.

Cincinnati announced Monday that the NCAA had granted Kay a sixth year of eligibility because of injuries that caused him to miss the 2008 and ’11 seasons. He is now working towards a master’s in business administration.
