Team dismisses DE

The latest in what’s become an annual rite of offseason passage comes courtesy of Northern Illinois, which confirmed to the DeKalb Daily Chronicle that defensive lineman Frank Boenzi has been dismissed from the football program. The dismissal is a result of weed charges stemming from a mid-June arrest.

Team dismisses LB
In a statement, NIU head coach Dave Doeren announced that Butler has been dismissed from the Huskies. No specific reason for the dismissal was given, although it doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to figure it out.
