One Less Team For Luv to Worry About In NCAA 13

Believe it or not, the Tiburon staff FORGOT to put South Alabama in the GAME! Oh yeah. And now they are falling over themselves to make it right.

Here is what EA is doing to make up for it.

1. During one of the games this upcoming year, EA Sports will videotape the team and cheerleader run-out onto the field at the start of a game so that we can try and replicate the run out and make it as realistic as possible.

2. EA Sports will perform a crowd recording of a South Alabama game this year and use that recording to replicate the stadium sound effects and crowd chants in the game.

3. EA Sports also wants to work closely with the South Alabama athletic department in developing the South Alabama team introductions that ESPN announcers Brad Nessler, Rece Davis and Kirk Herbstreit will talk about at the start of each game.

4. EA Sports will be adding the South Alabama mascot "South Paw" into the game so South Paw will be on the sidelines during games and also be included in the "Mascot Mash-Up" game mode.

5. EA Sports wants to meet with the South Alabama football coaches to replicate the South Alabama playbook and make it as realistic as possible to what the team uses during the 2014 season.

6. EA Sports is already looking into licensing the rights to use Ladd Peebles Stadium so EA can perform a "Stadium Scan" of the stadium and get the most authentic South Alabama stadium possible into the 2014 NCAA Football game.

Damn, I hope they forget to put ASU in next year's game if that means that they are going to get the kind of treatment that South Alabama will get. Then again, shouldn't every team get this kind of attention every year? hmmm...

Yeah, the all should get that treatment and for the most part they do...over time. Tiburon has limited manpower it seems and gets things right on a schedule. I was glad to get the green USF helmets this year. They had the tan pants last year but no green helmet. And the year before, no white helmet.

Yeah, but look what they did to USF's ratings. USF is probably the best team in the Big East, and they are rated like they are a bottom-feeder. Like you said, over time, they might get it right. Maybe next year huh? Let's try to stay positive though, at least until we can play the game. I don't want to be a party-pooper.

that is nice that they are doing all that detail, but be ashamed that you left out a team in the game that is in the FBS. Does Madden leave out the Browns? Oops, we forgot about them.

They screwed with USF's ratings because the game is made by UCF grads and interns. They released a bunch of photos of USF/UCF game and in all of them, UCF is just beating down USF players. The first thing I did in my first dynasty was add UCF as my first game and beat the crap out of them. Sucks I am using generated names though.
