Roster Progress

Looks like equipment is gonna be tough this year. They really randomized it.

Do you want us to post any pictures or anything that might help with equipment and body type? Or do you already have a pretty solid system for that?

Yeah equipment's brutal. If i see another QB with a robot facemask I'm gonna lose it lol.

Equipment is definitely a joke this year, even on all American players, they can't even get the visors correct on players who have them and those that dont. And the dreads, almost feel like they just dropped a pen and put them on random guys just to please all the people complaining about dreads

I saw the fix, but I think it is a joke that you can't enter basic names like Spikes, etc, says profanity. Just makes the process take longer.

Since the equipment is so jacked up.....I have decided to include equipment edits for Version 1....obviously it will be more expansive later

Funny you say that. I popped NCAA 2004 in and they had the right equipment for for most of the top guys and then some. It was awesome. They need to work something out with the NCAA and the players.

Why do the rosters seem way worse this year?

EA is scared shitless of Keller

Not sure if you are aware, but EA left WVU's Bruce Irvin (DE) off the game for some reason. Also, it was just announced today that WVU offensive lineman, Josh Jenkins, will sit out 2011 with a knee injury.

That would be terrible if they somehow would no longer let you change the names as a result of this.

He is suing about player likeness. There for EA has jacked up skin color, dreads, numbers, years, and equipment to make sure that no one could say these players resembled the actual players. Therefore it is 10x more difficult for guys like 9's to get the rosters done.

Not sure how much of a help that video will be.. but you can see some of the gameday equipment for Minny's main playmakers like Gray, Stoudemire, McKnight, etc. Not sure if it's because he played mostly at WR last year, but Gray had a clear visor up until the last game where he took more than a few snaps at QB.. and I noticed that game he didn't have a visor at all. Not sure the story on that, I'll try to go through some of my spring game pics and see if he had one then (don't think so though).
