Josh Gordon

Josh Gordon, the wide receiver from Baylor, has left their program and is interested in joining the Utah football team, sources out of Waco report.

A sophomore last year, Gordon was the Bears' second-leading receiver in 2010. He was named to the third team All-Big 12 and finished the season ranked 13th in the Big 12 in total receiving yards.

So, we'll see how this develops. If true, Gordon would certainly be a good get for the program.

It should be pointed out, though, that Gordon has had some trouble while at Baylor. In October, he was arrested outside a Taco Bell for possession of marijuana.

But if this rumor bears out, Coach Whittingham must feel he's put the past behind him and is ready to play some football.

Former Baylor wide receiver Josh Gordon, who was suspended indefinitely for violating team rules, has enrolled at Utah and is already practicing with the team.

As a result of NCAA transfer rules, Gordon will be unable to play this season, but he can still practice with the Utes.
