NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ROSTERS

Since luvtotha9s isn't doing rosters this year, who's gonna take up the task to produce 100% accurate and up to date rosters?

From the way it sounds in the Farewell thread, GoAztecs will be taking over the project

I hope his is as accurate as Luv

I'm very picky about my rosters so I'm thinking about putting in the hard work to produce rosters myself

Anyone here going to step up and do Rosters this year? People keep asking who I would recommend...would love to tell them someone from here.

Suggest they go to gamerosters since they will just end up claiming the rosters as their own and post them somewhere else.

they are worth $5. They got most of the names correct, but that's all they did. Ratings, and uniforms will have to be done on your own. Yeah, That's what I thought...I would never suggest gamerosters to anyone, they seem like a ripoff. I was hoping someone from the forums would be taking up the mantle.

...and maybe it isn't fair comparing others to my work...not sure anyone out there works as hard as I did on rosters...They're just isn't that many hours in a day...

My gamerosters comment was more so for those on this forum who stole Luv's work last year, made a change or two, and claimed them as their own. And it seems like it was in the process again, as we all of the sudden received "new" members and they started sending messages repeatedly in private asking for a copy of the rosters.

I'm a teacher & basketball coach so dedicating the time necessary to do the entire project would be out of the question for me. I'd gladly keep Kentucky & Western Kentucky up to date for whomever steps up to the plate. I'd suggest using the Operation Sports Community Roster for PS3 as a base to work from so that takes out a lot of the work regarding names, numbers, heights, weights, skin color, and home state. If all of the TRUE INNER CIRCLE MEMBERS pull together, we can at least come close to the quality of the work contributed by the first member of the NCAA Football PS3 Hall of Fame...yes I just inducted him!

I would say I could contribute to editing Louisville & Tennessee's rosters as well, but I would just make all of their players' overall ratings 40 LOL

who has the best rosters so far? the os rosters are done but they have a ton of corrections to make,so they wont be ready for a while.

No joke the Community Rosters have a lot of corrections to make. I appreciate the time they put in to do it for free, but they spent a lot of time trying to play "Daddy" to everyone posting instead of getting it right. I gave plenty of helpful info to be ignored on most of it & watch them include guys that were kicked off/transferred months ago. WKU is an absolute mess on theirs too & I expected that with all of Petrino's moves made in the offseason. However, there's no excuse for making up fictional people or putting a guy that has only played CB & will only play DB in the future at ROLB...plum crazy dude

I downloaded the OS rosters earlier today, examined them for about 60 seconds, then proceeded to delete them.

I think with all of the people they got sending corrections,they will never be right because everyone is saying something different, have you seen the size of the correction thread? holy crap,I might use bears nva roster for now.

Usually I give them the benefit of the doubt due to the demand of people, but these rosters were horrible. Coming up with fake names, not naming punters and kickers, wrong spelling of big name players. Guess it is back to the PS2 days of imputing everything from scratch like the days before Luv.

I ended up deleting the roster too Zoon, once I saw Miami having kicker and punter as names, and Gary Nova as Gary Novs, etc. I loved their logic on injured players....oh, just remove them completely from the game, what about dynasty play?! Removing Golson because he isn't on this year's Notre Dame roster, give me a break. What I truly appreciated about Luv was that he would analyze each situation, and do what is proper, like lowering someone on the depth chart, not just completely deleting them. Guess after a little more ultimate team, time to start a roster from scratch

Nobody will have good rosters only a week from release...nobody. If someone claims they do, they are either a bullshit liar, or delusional...the players aren't even in summer camp yet.

Face it man, it's your calling. If you have a change of heart, I say you head up the project but assign out teams to the guys you know can be unbiased and have been loyal IC members. That way it lightens the workload for you and all you have to do is enter our info. No need to go balls-out on finer equipment details since that takes up a lot of time. At this point, some semi-accurate name, rating, & position rosters would be nice. Have I guilt-tripped you enough yet buddy? LOL

It's just not worth it for me...way too time consuming, to do rosters like I do them, you have to live rosters 24/7 for 6 months. yes, I was pretty good at rosters, but I'm pretty good at a lot of things.

I've been doing pretty well at holding out for a decent set of rosters but at this point, I'm staring to get the shakes.  So if I read correctly the consensus is majesty95 on OS?  Anybody try out Jeffdlowe (Pastapadre)'s rosters?  Is there anyone within the IC seriously thinking about tackling this task?

What all has majesty95 done with his rosters? I'm kind of getting impatient with the OS Community Rosters as they're only making adjustments to accurately reflect the top 69 players on the depth chart. No emphasis has been placed on accurate ratings at this point. Luv was right about too many cooks in the kitchen, but, if their only goal is to make sure the top 69 guys are on the roster & have correct heights/weights/skin colors, they should been finished days ago. I can't do it by myself but if I can at least get my hands on a decent starter roster without too many bugs, I'd consider heading up a collaborative project with a few IC members.
