WR Marqise Lee was just awarded #9 for USC. Not sure if it's taken on defense in the game.

Thanks for all of your hard work. I am a subscriber to canesport and caneinsider those are my sources. Hope this helps make it more accurate. I apologize in advance for making this long.

1. Stephen Morris has a much better arm than Jacory. I would flip flop the two from 88-92
2. Maurice Hagens is our starting fullback. He is not on your roster
3. Darian Hall is our third running back. Grooms hasn’t been cleared by NCAA. If he was he is a burner question the 91 rating
4. Tommie Streeter Has been killing it this spring plus he runs a 4.4 85 is much too slow for him. Aldarious Johnson is know for his hands not the 94 speed they originally have him for. You can simply swap the speeds for both of these receivers. Phillip Dorsett is a burner (St Thomas Aquinas) who is turning heads in camp at least a 94 speed and is a slot guy, was left off.
5. Tomkins is a bit faster than 88 (quick slot receiver) If you have to take him out and put Dorsett in.
6. Chase Ford is in our TE rotation probably between 2-3 starter
7. Malcome Bunche at LT is a little better than 80 I would put him at 85. He earned the starting nod over Seantrel before he got hurt and he was freshmen all American.
8. Brandon Washington at RG is our best olinemen and will be a high draft pick for an olinemen. I would put him at 87
9. At DE Ojomo is much faster than 65 I would put him at 78
10. Also at DE MRobinson has been moved to lb also faster than 75
11. Darius Smith is will be alternating with Regis at dt. Junior college transfer who is a straight up beast in the middle.
12. At linebacker Buchanan is a former safety who ran a low 4.4 in the spring. I would bump up speed from 72-88
13. Cj Holton is not on the team he is injured. Replace with Gionni Paul who also is lighting it up
14. Eddie Johnson another big linebacker with decent wheels who is having a decent camp is missing
15. Gaines is starting over Futch. As a matter of fact Paul has moved ahead of him
16. Denzel Perrymen is a 4-star linebacker who was also left off. Has a bright future but quiet in camp.
17. Mike Williams is on the first team opposite Mcghee (he was left off). He is a transfer from Wake.
18. Vaughn Telamaque is at least a 88 speed wise.
19. Dalton Botts is our punter. #1 Junior college punter is our starter.

Boise St

Will go with a 6 man WR rotation:

Also, Chadd Cripe of the Idaho Statesman reports the Broncos are going to use a six-man rotation at receiver: Tyler Shoemaker, Chris Potter, Mitch Burroughs, Geraldo Boldewijn, Kirby Moore and Matt Miller.

Roster Suggestions - Page 2 Empty Overall Suggestion

Post by lilvilly75 Thu Aug 25, 2011 4:55 pm

Hey Luv, AMAZING rosters man, thanks a ton.

I simmed a dynasty so I could save the draft classes for Madden 12 and future classes had better overall ratings than the first draft class in the dynasty (future classes having 5-8 players rated 99 as opposed to the first class only having Luck rated 99 and the other top players in the nation rated 97 and so on). I suggest you give a slight boost to the elite players in the country (Andrew Luck, QB; Matt Kalil, OT; Quinton Coples, DE; Dre Kirkpatrick, CB; and Jonathan Martin, OT be rated 99 while Kellen Moore, QB; D.J. Fluker, OT; Justin Blackmon, WR; Donte Paige-Moss, DE; and Alshon Jeffery, WR be rated 98) that way the draft classes will be more even.

Roster Suggestions - Page 2 Empty Re: Roster Suggestions

Post by Palo20 Fri Aug 26, 2011 2:39 am

Few more suggestions, some may be picky, it's up to you. :

Auburn
Frosh WRs (Bray, Denson, Coates) are a bit overrated compared to the other true frosh in the nation. They are 75-76 OVR which puts them up there in the top 5 or so in the nation. Bray has been a proven playmaker at practice, but I’d lower the other guys a bit. My chart of EA’s default freshman ratings is a good reference point.

--Other overrated frosh:
Minnesota WR Marcus Jones (76 OVR)
UConn LE Adeyemi (77 OVR)
Colorado RE Andre Nichols (74 OVR) He’s a walk on
Boise St RE Samuel Ukwuachu (74 OVR)
Illinois RE Darrius Caldwell (73 OVR)
Miami HB Kevin Grooms (82 OVR)
Oregon HB Ayele Forde (80 OVR), De’Anthony Thomas should prob be the 3rd best RB on team.
Kansas HB Darrian Miller (76 OVR)
Penn St HB Deron Thompson (74 OVR)

Ohio St
Again, being picky, but Braxton Miller is now an 80 OVR when Driskel was pretty much the consensus #1 QB recruit. Up to you on that one.

USC
QB Cody Kessler was named the backup to Barkley. John Manoogian is a former walk on who has no chance of starting (he may do some mop up work this year in order to redshirt the freshmen). I’d lower Manoogian to about a 70 OVR and raise up Kessler’s athleticism to get his OVR around 74 or so.

The true freshman HB you have listed as Germany should actually be Amir Carlisle. It was intended to be Carlisle on the default roster. He is actually tearing it up in camp and may see significant playing time (rating seems fine, could add a bit more pass catching ability).

TCU
RS FR QB Matt Brown is overrated at 83 OVR. That puts him as one of the best FR QBs in the nation.

UNC
LE Quinton Coples should be the best DE in the nation. Expected to be a top draft pick.

--I think Manti Te’o and Shayne Skov should have 90+ POW (makes for better animations). Burfict should probably have the highest in the game.

Purdue
WR OJ Ross should be fast and shifty

DT Kawann Short needs a boost. Should be one of the top DTs in the draft. 88 OVR is reasonable.

Cal
WR Keenan Allen could use a bit more SPD and ACC. Explosive playmaker.

Tennessee
WR Justin Hunter should have 95+ JMP and probably should have 90+ SPC.

TCU
WR Josh Boyce is a deep threat, speed WR. Could use a bit more SPD (OVR is plenty high, probably a bit too high).

I haven't seen the rosters yet so I do not know if you have these small updates for UConn.

- The QB race is down to True Fr Michael Nebrich and RS Jr Johnny McEntee. Scott McCummings has struggled with accuracy and Michael Box is transferring to FCS.

-RB Jonathan Jean-Louis will wear #1. Freshmen RB DeShon Foxx wears #10. Coaches love his speed.

- RS Senior WR Kashif Moore wears #6 and has dreads. 4.4 speed.Track guy. Sr. WR Michael Smith will redshirt. Coaches are looking to get the ball in WR Nick Williams hands in open space. BC Wr Shakim Phillips transferred over to UConn, will be eligible in 2012. Wr Dwayne Difton,Gerrard Sheppard and Leon Kinnard all transferred.

-RS Senior DT Kendell Reyes should probably be the highest rated player on the team. He's getting the most attention from NFL Scouts.

-Freshmen LBs Marquise Vann & Jefferson Ashiru will get playing time

I've noticed a lot of rosters are doing speed edits to get the speed ratings more realistic and to tone down on guys with 90+ speed ratings across the board, have you thought about doing this?

Thanks for all the hardwork.

Just posted this in the UNC news area, maybe should've checked here first.

Also, Gonzaga PG and Michael Goodson's little brother is transferring to play CB at Baylor.

All-American Tulsa WR/PR/KR Damaris Johnson is suspended indefinitely. There's talk that it will all be blamed on his girlfriend so he may return, but for now, I guess, take him off the depth chart.

Pitt TE Brock DeCicco is transferring to Wisconsin

Arizona starting CB Jonathan McKnight tore his ACL and is done for the season, should drop him off the depth chart. Shaquille Richardson will become the starter. David Douglas or Richard Morrison will take over return duties.

Sources all posted in the News section for each team.

Post by gator3guy Sun Aug 28, 2011 3:01 pm

I didn't see this thread. I posted some stuff in the team threads. I'll just post some things I noticed. I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of these teams so I wouldn't be the best to tell you who to get rid of, but I'm just telling you guys I think should definitely be on the roster.

Akron
QB Clayton Moore will get the start this week. Should be at least same overall as Nicely.

Auburn
HB Onterio McCalebb should have 94-96 speed

Baylor
QB Robert Griffin III should have about 90 speed. Knock ACC down a couple notches.
HB Lache Seastrunk is known for his speed and explosion. I edited him to 94 SPD 92 AGL and 96 ACC and 56 AWR 82 ELU and had him at 79 OVR which is about right IMO.
WR Kendall Wright should have higher AGL and ACC. This kid is quick (former point guard). Also, I think he is a Jr.

Boston College
HB Montel Harris didn't have his equipment edited. I know you did guys over 85 overall. Not a big deal, I can do it myself. Just wanted to bring to your attention.

CAL
QB Maynard is pretty athletic. Overall looks good though. Maybe lower THA if you need to. Wouldn't go over 80 OVR.
HB Brendan Bigelow should be added. 4* recruit. Top 20 RB recruit. Maybe replace Lasco???

Cincy
TE Travis Kelce is a freak athlete. He was suspended last year, but ran the wildcat his soph year. Could use SPD, TRK, THP, THA(former QB) increases. Some are predicting a breakout season from him. Should be second best TE on roster.

ECU
QB Dominique Davis could use a boost in the speed categories. 9 rush TD's last year. Could lower passing attributes (system QB).

FAU
QB Graham Wilbert named starter

FIU
WR TY Hilton. Rumored 4.2-4.3 speed. Electric with the ball. NFL potential. At least 90 OVR in my opinion.

Georgia
HB Crowell might be a little too high to start. He's a high 4.5 to low 4.6 guy from what I read. Might want to lower speed. I think he'll be 86 by the end of the year, but it's up to you.

Georgia Tech
QB David Sims is likely to start at B-Back(Fullback).

Hawaii
WR Darius Bright is going to start at one of the outside receiver spots and by all accounts is going to blow up. Jump and Catch should be increased.

Houston
Add HB Charles Sims. C-Usa Freshman of the year two years ago. Low 80's OVR. RS-Soph. Maybe replace Chris Wilson????

Idaho
HB Ryan Bass should probably be as highly rated as McCarty. Might start. 4* transfer from ASU. 4.4 speed coming out (put on twenty pounds so probably around 90).

Illinois
HB Donovann Young should be on the roster. Could compete for carries. Maybe instead of Josh Ferguson????

Indiana
Damarlo not "Damario" Belcher

Iowa St.
OT Kelechi Osemele could be a first round pick.

Kansas
QB Brock Berglund will redshirt. Leave on roster.
HB Brandon Bourbon has had a great camp. Could see some carries. 70ish overall. 4* recruit last year.

Kansas St.
QB Collin Klein increase trucking. Tough to bring down.
MLB Arthur Brown I think is going to have a big year, but I would understand if you didn't want to bump him up just yet.
They have 3 ROLB's over 80. I know some of that has to do with position switches. Just bringing it to your attention.

Marshall
QB Rakeem Cato could start. Should at least be rated like Sullivan and Graham OVR wise.

Memphis
HB Jerrell Rhodes is apparently running in the 4.3's. Not sure he's quite that fast, but many think he's going to breakout.
DT Dontari Poe is a load. I think he has NFL potential as does Trotter.

Michigan St.
TE Dion Sims is expected to play a big role for the Spartans.

Mid Tenn St.
LSU transfer HB Drayton Calhoun should be added. Looks like they have an abundance of receivers. Possibly one could be used for Calhoun.

Miss St.
MLB Brandon Maye is prob a mid 80's guy. Bump AWR should do it.

Missouri
LT Elvis Fisher is probably out for the year. Could redshirt, has one available. I would leave him in.
DT Sheldon Richardson is highly touted. Should start at low 80's OVR.

NC ST
LB Audie Cole is playing MLB I believe.

Nebraska
QB Taylor Martinez should have higher speed. I would lower his THP.

New Mex St.
Kenny Turner should probably have a higher overall. He's talented.
WR Taveon Rogers is an explosive return guy.

Northwestern
QB Dan Persa should have higher accuracy. Set a Big Ten record for completion percentage.

Ohio State
LT Mike Adams is one of the best OT's in the country.

Oklahoma St.
I think Cooper is rated about right.
Might want to think about adding Wyoming transfer safety Shamiel Gary. Tenth ranked safety in 2014 class. True Junior will redshirt this year.
Markelle Martin is underrated. One of the better safties in a weak class.
Levy Adcock is one of the best in the nation.

Ole Miss
QB Barry Brunetti will start.

Oregon
TE Christian French (I know you moved him from LB) was a 4* athlete. Needs blocking and catching increases to get to low 70's.

Oregon St.
HB Malcolm Agnew could start. Malcolm Marable moved to defense I believe. Maybe you could replace him??? Might want to ask the beaver fan.

continued...

Pitt
Former Ohio St. commit LB Ejuan Price transferred to Pitt. There's 13 LB's on the roster. I'm sure you can replace one who isn't near the depth chart.

Rice
QB Taylor Cook moved to receiver.

San Jose St.
HB DeLeon Eskridge transfer from Minnesota is missing

South Carolina
HB Lattimore is not that fast. Maybe reverse his speed and ACC.

Temple
QB Chester Stewart is pretty athletic and he'll need it if he plays in Addazio's spread.
TE Evan Rodriguez is the number 2 ranked FB/H-back in the draft by some. A really good blocker and athletic (former safety).

Texas Tech
WR Javares McRoy should be added. True freshman will redshirt. 4* recruit. Replace a receiver not on the depth chart if you can. He was on Florida's default roster if you need ratings.

Toldeo
The Haden brothers are missing.

Tulane
HB Orleans Darkwa should have a higher rating. Very good season as a true frosh on a bad team.

Tulsa
QB Cody Green should be about an 80 IMO. His arm is a little underrated.
HB Trey Watts should start.

UAB
LT Matt McCants has NFL potential. Top ten tackle by some.
HB Pat Shed is a solid player. Around 80 OVR IMO. Bump AWR and CTH if you wish.

UCF
Miami transfer Storm Johnson is missing. Seems to be a lot of DT's. Although it probably wouldn't be smart to use a DT for a RB. Any thoughts?

UL-Lafayette
TE Ladarius Green should be at least a top 5 TE (top 2 IMO).

UL-Monroe
Luther Ambrose is a world-class sprinter (100m guy).

USF
HB Darrell Scott is more of a power guy. Increase strength/BTK/TRK. Lower SPD/AGL/ACC 2-3 points each.

Utah
HB Thretton Palamo is a little overrated for never playing a down of football. John White is most likely going to start. Tauni Vakapuna is likely #2 behind him (not on roster).
ROLB Brian Blechen was one of the better players on the defense last year while playing safety. He shouldn't be the worst starting LB IMO.

Washington
WR Kasen Williams has been blowing up at U-Dub practices. I expect he'll make an impact as long as Price is decent. Bump speed up relative to other receivers.
RE Josh Shirley is really athletic.

West Virginia
Tavon Austin is the best receiver on that team. Will play the slot. Starks' playing time is likely to be cut. Ryan Nehlen is likely to be heavily involved in the reiving game. Last I heard TE Tyler Urban was going to be playing wideout.

Western Kentucky
S Jonathan Dowling- 4* transfer from Florida. True Soph. Will RS this year.

Western Michgan
WR Jordan White is an All-American. Easily best receiver on that team. 90ish OVR.

Wisconsin
MLB Chris Borland needs a bump in ACC. Lower Strength.

Wyoming
The gap between Smith and Pittser isn't that big IMO. Pittser needs a bump in arm strength (Elite 11 QB).

That's all I got for now. I trust your judgement. These are just my observations as an overall fanatic of college football. Thanks for all your hardwork my man.

Physically he's better than Smith. Smith enrolled early and had a leg up on him and ultimately got the start. If he struggles you'll see Pittser.

Great job gator, after reviewing the roster had a lot of those things to point out as well, especially missing transfers. Here is my additions and sorry for not in order, just what I found:

San Diego St. --- Drop J.Wade CB on depth chart (ACL --- out for year)
increase rating on TE Gavin Escobar (overall at least 82) Luv, you know I don't like making rating changes but like I told you last year about Hillman, this will be for Escobar

Air Force --- Connor Dietz, granted another year, change from R-SR to R-JR

Akron --- what gator said, Clayton Moore starting QB

Arizona --- Jaime Salazar, named to starting K (replace Zendejas who can't make an XP)
Ka'Deem Carey, named to primary KR (depth chart)
Jack Baucus, going from TE to T,saw you made depth chart move, should he be T?

Arizona St --- Kyle Middlebrooks, named primary KR (depth chart)

Arkansas St --- QB Phillip Butterfield, torn ACL, drop on depth chart.

Was Stacy officially announced as the starter? I know their were rumors.

Sorry for another post

Colorado St
Raymond Carter will start at RB.

Indiana
QB Edward Wright-Baker is a lefty

New Mexico
Tarean Austin will start at QB

Marshall
RB Travon Van (on default roster) is expected to be a co-starter with Tron Martinez (ahead of Martin Ward). QB Mark Cann is no longer with the team I believe.
